Our church has 2 food pantries. Loaves and Fishes is our “brick and mortar” pantry that operates daily. People from Wise County (who qualify) can come into the church during operating hours to receive 4 sacks of non-perishable foods. We serve anywhere between 60-90 families per month. We have a group of volunteers that come in weekly to sack the non-perishables. Leona Sutherland keeps this group of volunteers running smoothly!

Our second food pantry is “mobile.” Called Pantry Express, it provides fresh foods for our Wise County community (with qualifications). This ministry brings in volunteers from all over our county. It is humbling to watch all the volunteers in action as they have a perfectly tuned system to provide people with nourishing food! The numbers given above show how effective this ministry is!
