Have you ever had a sermon impact you so much that you just have to hear it again? Or maybe you have had to miss a Sunday morning worship service. The sermon portion of recent worship services is now available for you to listen to online.
The sermon, however, is only part of the worship experience. We still want you to visit so you can see and experience the fullness of what we, as a family, can do together.
Online Giving Agreement
When you serve through giving by donating to First Methodist Bridgeport, you acknowledge that:
- First Methodist Church Bridgeport is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization as a recognized congregation of The Methodist Church.
- First Methodist Bridgeport did not provide any goods or services to you, in consideration, in whole or in part, for your donation, other than the provision of intangible religious benefits.
- Your donation to First Methodist Bridgeport becomes the property of First Methodist Bridgeport, and First Methodist Bridgeport has ultimate control, authority, and discretion concerning the contributions it receives.

To donate by text:
- Text the amount you would like to give to 940-350-3040 (e.g. $50).
Remember to include a space between your dollar amount and your keyword. If you submit $50Missions, they will receive a “Sorry, not sure what you meant” error message. The proper format must be $50 Missions for the command to be received properly. - If you have donated by text before, you will receive a text in response confirming that your gift has been received successfully and you’re done.
- If it’s the first time you donate by text, you’ll be sent a message that says, “It looks like you are a new giver; to begin: (link provided). It will be a link to the church’s online giving page. Clicking on the link, they will be asked to provide their payment method (credit card, debit card, or bank account). This payment source will then be linked with your phone number so that, in the future, all you will need to do is text in the amount. (You will not need to re-enter their payment information.)
- Donations automatically go to the default fund in Breeze if you didn’t specify a fund by keyword. Example by keyword: $50 missions. Note: You can only give to one fund at a time.
You will receive a confirmation email sent to the email entered with your payment details stating that your online gift was processed.
