Friends and Family Sunday, a celebration of life together with God. The relationship of people sharing sacred times together as well as everyday life is often referred to metaphorically as a church family. Think of this as you read through the Bible and you will begin to see that God called the people of Israel as part of the divine family. They are referred to as children or even as a bride. And likewise, the church is the bride of Christ, children, and family of God. The bond we share goes beyond the secular understanding of a friend. The sharing of God’s Love and Spirit is the greatest of gifts among people.

If you haven’t joined us in a while, I pray that you will make time this Sunday. If you are not able to attend, please join us on Facebook Live and we shall share the spirit and love of God which has no boundaries. If you have invited a friend, I pray the Spirit of joy will be with them, for what we share is beyond ourselves, and truly the greatest of gifts.
