Made to Fit… Like a Square Peg

The kingdom of heaven is here. It has been proclaimed and fulfilled in the hearing of Jesus’ words and acts. God has been revealed to us in Christ to the best of our understanding. Like the people of Nazareth, there are parts we do not want to hear or follow, parts that are often swept under the rug in our spiritual walk. It is the pleasure of God to expose and lead us out of our self-delusion toward the full person we were made to be. To look under the rug and admit, yes there is dirt, and to follow through with sweeping it away.
