Welcome to Marlo Karg!  

My name is Marlo Karg and I am excited to be the new Director of Children’s Ministry at FUMC Bridgeport.

My background is in Special Education ranging in ages from PreK-12th grade. I taught elementary for seven years and high school for three years. I am currently enjoying being a stay-at-home mom. I have been married to my husband, James, for 18½ years. We have four beautiful children: Heather (14), Julia (12), Emma (9) and Justin (2).

I have several goals and ideas for the children’s program and will be looking for volunteers to help make them reality. I have met many of you and look forward to meeting and working with all of you.
